Revo Shaft & Sweaty Hands Info

I wanted to post about something that I have not found any information about and that is sweaty hands making Revo shafts sticky.

My hands get a bit tacky from sweat and I found that touching the carbon shaft will make it sticky. I started using a glove which seemed to help at first, but the stickiness showed back up. This is when I realized that the uncovered fingers were transferring both sweat and chalk dust from the table felt to the shaft. I now have to be careful to not pick up the cue by the shaft before and after a shot using the entire bridgehand, using only those fingers that are covered by a glove. If I don't then I have to constantly wipe my cue during a game to remove the stickiness and it all becomes very distracting. Better to make a new habit of avoiding touching the carbon fiber shaft with bare fingers. A carbon shaft and sweat creates a sticky situation.
