Different Weights of Revo Shafts
Much to my surprise, my friends 11.8 Revo weighed more than my 12.4 Revo (both 29inch). Could you explain why this is?
Also, my 30 in Revo is only the slightest bit heavier than my 29 in (both 12.4). How does this whole inch only affect the weight by .10 ounce?
Are there different weight options for Revo's? Could you please go a little bit into detail about this because I never knew this.
Thanks!

Hi Brett,
Thank you for reaching out. The weight of our Revo shafts can vary a little bit. Our target production weight range for Revo shafts is 3.8 - 4.2 oz and as a result, the weight can vary slightly between two different shafts.
The length or taper does not affect the weight as it adjusted based on the interior components to still be within the target weight range of 3.8-4.2 oz.
The parameters that applied to wood do not apply to carbon fiber shafts in the same way as they are made differently.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
